Marion Ipenburg, owner and founder of East West Healing Arts, has been in the medical profession for over 20 years. She has worked as a physical therapist in a variety of settings, and has developed extensive experience in orthopedics, as well as stroke and traumatic brain injuries.

Before opening her acupuncture practice, Ms. Ipenburg was in charge of the Physical Therapy Department at San Pedro Peninsula Hospital where she was responsible for coordinating and providing physical therapy services for the rehabilitation, medical, sub-acute, and out-patient departments.Marion Ipenburg, owner and founder of East West Healing Arts, has been in the medical profession for over 20 years. Ms. Ipenburg received her physical therapy training in the Netherlands at the Leiden Academy for Physical Therapy. Upon completion of her training she moved to England where she worked in a number of different hospitals and clinics. One of her accomplishments was to set up a successful physical therapy clinic and rehabilitation program for the multiple sclerosis society in Horley, England.

In December 1999 Ms. Ipenburg acquired a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine at Samra University in Los Angeles. Ms. Ipenburg has been a board certified acupuncturist and herbalist since March, 2000. Over the years Ms. Ipenburg has helped thousands of patients find relief for their various illnesses and complaints. She is particularly skilled at providing pain relief. In addition the combination of physical therapy and acupuncture provides great benefit to patients suffering from stroke or traumatic brain injury.
